The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in California at the age of 55.

His passing was verified by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.

The renowned game designer passed away following his car crashed and was engulfed in flames on a motorway in LA on this past Sunday, as reported by.

"This represents a heartbreaking loss, and our hearts are with Vince's family, his family, and all those touched by his creative vision," an official with Electronic Arts said.
