Nineteen of the Russian's twenty-one championships have been won on hard courts
A revitalized Medvedev won his initial trophy for nearly 30 months with a win over opponent Moutet in the tournament final.
The Russian, a ex- top-ranked player, has experienced a torrid year, winning just one match at the major tournaments and undergoing a setback at the New York tournament.
His unpredictability on the professional circuit - and issues with his serve in particular - caused him dropping out of the world's top 10 and finally separating with long-term trainer Gilles Cervara.
Currently working with his coach and Goetzke, Medvedev has gradually improved in the past month - peaking in a tightly fought 7-5 4-6 6-3 triumph over Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
This marks the player's first title after the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hard court from spring of the previous year.
The win also means he has secured 21 championships at twenty-one distinct tournaments.
"It's the first time I'm at a event with my children at once, so to get a title is especially meaningful," stated ranked player Daniil Medvedev.
"This victory is in tribute of my child my daughter, because the first title I won when my older daughter Alisa was delivered was for her."
The tennis star, the former major winner, had failed in his last six championship matches, including in that event earlier this year.
Medvedev's retrieving approach and regular reactions on court had led observers to question if his skill to play at the elite level was finished.
But the player has implemented adjustments in the past month, attempting to come to the net and compete positively, backed up by an improved service.
He fought back from a disadvantage in the first set against the tricky opponent, winning four of the concluding five exchanges to gain the advantage.
Both players traded break points in the middle set before the Frenchman, striving for his initial ATP Tour championship, took control to push for a final set.
He rescued 4 early break points in a tight third set before the Russian secured a break to fifteen to secure the win.
Suitably, Medvedev clinched victory with a rally at the net area, with the Frenchman unable to handle a return after a lengthy match.
