Los Angeles experienced widespread celebrations after the Los Angeles Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-game World Series championship. Fans worldwide joined local residents in jubilation, marking the first time in 25 years that a team has secured back-to-back championships.

Victory Parade Draws Massive Crowds

Local events featured a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.

Online footage depict thousands of Los Angeles residents packing downtown streets, many carrying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The team was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the crowds, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy high.

“I’m already thinking about the next championship we’re going to do this,” Shohei Ohtani stated through an interpreter.

The procession path concluded at Dodger Stadium, where the team walked out to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us,” with DJ Mustard providing music and the artist cruising a light blue classic car around the field.

In contrast, the team owner was met with a less warm welcome at the celebration. Video footage from the gathering seem to depict him walking onstage to a mix of cheers and jeers, with negative shouts punctuating his address.
