Jet Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Due to Fracture in Cockpit Window

A plane ferrying the US defense secretary was forced to make an unplanned landing in the UK on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the plane's windshield, as stated by an announcement which stated that all passengers were secure.

"The plane landed based on standard protocol and everyone onboard, such as Defense Secretary Hegseth, is safe," an official representative commented in a public statement.

Hegseth was returning from a quick journey to the city of Brussels at the time.

This event isn't the first time that a American defense plane ferrying a senior official has encountered mechanical issues.

Months ago, a US Air Force plane transporting Secretary of State Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was forced to turn back to Washington after encountering a mechanical problem.
