AC Shadows Unveils Surprising Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving

In a unexpected partnership that breaks conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Disclosed

According to the formal release, "A mysterious encounter draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and fearsome changes echo through the shadows." The plot presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret group.

The mission centers on "strange tests and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Changes

The preview highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a powerful scene showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Exclusive Items and Bonus Features

Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an unique katana alongside multiple objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Newest Free Story Update

This update also adds the game's newest free story content, titled "A Puzzlement."
